Valentine's Day Blog: Operation TITANUS 2015

While we celebrate the day of love, let's look at one of my recently made patterns, which is actually a remake of an early design which I posted on DeviantArt back in 19 March 2011.
TITANUS

I have explained the whole story about this, which inspired me after reading this short and funny comic strip where the the six Minibots Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, Gears, Brawn, Windcharger, and Huffer combined into this fan-made combiner (which is not really my idea actually.) Titanus seemed to be as tall as Optimus Prime, and so he changed his mind and said to Wheeljack to use the Dinobots instead.

The original design I made 4 years ago, was a little faulty but it formed very well. However, after I stopped visiting my DA until recently after leaving Facebook, that's where my designs began to develop thanks to analyzing recent Foldabot designs and used them to make new and remade patterns. Celtron (which I posted last year), Bahaghari (which is based off from Foldabots Mini), and now this, are just some of the pattern remakes. To understand the changes in the designs in this Transformers/Foldabots Crossover, here's the patterns and see the differences.

Bumblebee's canopy is now more simple, at the same time the vehicle form's a lot better than before.

Cliffjumper has almost the same alterations as Bumblebee but with a few alterations including the spoiler.

Gears' canopy looks more sleeker and the front tab closes better than ever.

Brawn has the same changes as Gears regarding the combiner parts and his canopy's a lot easier than the old version.

Windcharger gets a major overhaul including combining the canopy onto the main body part as one piece.

Huffer applies modern Foldabots technology yet the cab still detaches as a part of the transformation and combination processes.

Now, the alterations are significant, aside from adding proper cutting and folding lines, simplifying some of the parts, and removing Autobot symbols (which can be added with Reprolabels, which I sometimes not recommend due to the fact these are paper or cardboard.) which is the addition of glue labels and instructions to make it easy to understand while you build these paper Transformers.

These patterns you see here are neither made by Hasbro, Takara Tomy, or even third party companies, these are made only for the fans. Do not use these patterns and make money with them.

Since today is Valentine's Day, I hope most of you singles find your Mr./Ms. Right today unexpectedly. If not, it's OK to remain single. Also, Kung Hei Fat Choy to the Chinese community, as we usher in the Lunar New Year of the Wood Sheep or Goat if you prefer.

As always, SEE YOU ON THE NEXT BLOG!
