Buhatron and the Sporticons

Recently, these guys made their debut on the Foldabots comic strip, and now, we'll give you an inside scoop and some patterns on these 'clean' Lutabots--Buhatron and the Sporticons.

To start, let's look on BUHATRON. Buhatron is simply a car carrier truck, having the same purple color as Buhat from the Foldabots Mini fame, but with a more complicated design. The downside of this design is his robot body is exposed even in this form. The conversion is very easy though, so the first thing is you stand him up like so. The truck cab splits in half to form his arms. Mount the two arms with paperclips to hold them in to place. The usual configuration is the arm parts are mounted from the top of the cab's canopy. My version is the arms are mounted from the cab sides with the arm design up.
There was also a spoiler that Buhatron was not alone. He actually have minions that help him in his mischief. They are sports car Lutabots that was said to be released back in 2012, and now already published, let's look at the dazzling sports car Lutabots--The Sporticons.

ROJOTRON was made by Malvin Roix Orense (the same guy who made Magmatron.) He's the red-hot Sporticon that emits nitro blasts from either his hands or as a red Peugeot 9009, from his mufflers.

VERDETRON was made by Dan Carlo Pidigan. He has a 'pretty boy' personality and the ability to blend in with his background. He can also turn into a green Ferrari Enzo. He is the only one without weapons.

VIOLETA was made by Volvic Reverente. She is the only female Sporticon in the group. The spoiler on the back becomes her archery bow and can shoot toxic arrows up to the sky. She turns into a purple Pagani Zonda with toxic air coming from the front grill.

AZURENATOR was made by Guian Tumaneng. He doesn't talk too much and he's the 'emo' Sporticon. He wields an ice sword contaminated in Lutant. He has almost the same concept as Azul from the Mini fame. He is a blue Lotus Exige as his alt form.

The Sporticons can board Buhatron as he is the one who guards the four. As a fully-loaded car carrier truck, Buhatron's Lutabot body is covered by two of the cars, and he seems to be less awkward than Buhatron alone.

Combined, Buhatron gains armor when the Sporticons cling onto him to form the dreaded SPORTICUS! The name sounds very similar to the character Sportacus from Lazy Town, but don't be confused with it.

Above is my artwork which seemed to be the missing artwork for Sporticus. To prove, if you check out Azurenator's bio page as seen on K-Zone Philippines June 2012 issue, below is Sporticus as a toy, and there was no snapshot of the fully loaded trailer either.
As a matter of fact, there could be a way that this missing art will be the answer to this problem.

Patterns for each Sporticon and more will be seen on our Foldabots 7th Anniversary Special next month.

Tomorrow, is my YouTube channel's 4th anniversary and as a part of the celebration, I'll be posting a series of videos that you'll surely love, also here in The Foldabots Blog, I'll be showcasing another of Malvin Roix Orense's combiners--Stormicus!
