Update regarding the upcoming Toy Book, the schedule for the release will be on November 28, which today is not the yet.
On the good news, our Lutabot for this month is Pollunator (not to confuse with Pollenator), and of course, both this and Hataw can switch sides respectively, aside from having almost the same design. And now on this episode, my reactions for TB8.
Episode 3: Double Sporty Rage On Patrol
To be honest, this set is probably the best so far, and the good thing about it, is we'll get the Sporticons for sure, but with a twist. The Sporticons can now either be good guys or their original bad selves. Not to mention the Lutabot Diadrones are there, to those who haven't completed their sets composing of just two pairs. While these mentioned are the gestalts of the volume, I'm not sure who's filling the voids aside from Patrol in his MP version, after the 'failures' of the last two MPs, where Astig didn't have a transformation gimmick, and Bangis didn't have good articulations. Patrol however, will have the best design yet, aside from being the base concept for later MPs like Nuno or Nu-Sho, Siklab, Kidlat, and Xi-Takk, which very easy to replicate since it's in the car concept.
The set composed of 12 unique characters, 4 being the L.Diads, 6 being the Sporticons with their purified Foldabot selves (5 characters), 4 being MP Patrol (that's just one), and finally the last two are ambiguous. It could be the much anticipated Special Version of Astig, and the evil version of Tikbalang. Or something unexpected to be released for this edition.
After all, we still have 20 more days before the big day. But in the meantime, to those who haven't got the previous Toy Books from 5 to 7, they're now available again for a reasonable low price of Php 150.00, at your favorite book stores and magazine stands nationwide.
And as for the key rings, I just got one of the last three, which shame I won't do the symmetrical arms with Pollutor (or Pollunator, name your poison), and surprisingly a Yo-Kai Medal of Kiwinyan was included in my November issue. While I'm still on hiatus on making new patterns and recently finished taking pictures of Zootron, the Foldabots Mini made by yours truly, and others, I'll be back soon once I got the photos from my camera. Until then, this has been The Foldabots Blog, we'll see you next time.
