#foldabots10: The Year-Long Celebration Begins

In 2006, a man created a revolution. A revolution so unique, that even Bandai, Takara-Tomy, or Hasbro never thought of making such toys from not plastic or metal... but paper.

With so many milestones already for the past few years, Foldabots became a revolution that it uses the same materials as with paper dolls or anything made of such. The great thing about Foldabots is its simplicity, versatility, and variety, which made them stand out from every papercraft known to man, woman, and child, especially the more popular Cubeecraft.

In DeviantArt, Foldabots hasn't caught on especially only a few Folda-Fans have DA accounts, not even at other social media including Google+, which is basically like Facebook, but without the time wasting apps.

Also in recent years, Jomike Tejido is now trying to pitch the adult demographic to the toy line, through the Masterpiece series where we relive old favorites in their enlarged, more detailed versions. Patrol, the latest of the MPs is probably the best yet, partly because he's a police car, and partly to lessen the parts used to make the joints and other transformation points. Possibly this year, we'll get Liyab in Toy Book 9, apart from Malvin Roix Orense's Magmatron, and the new Foldabots from the first half of 2013. And eventually, a possible MP Elementron in its own Special Toy Book.

This month, as we open the Foldabots Fiscal Year 2016, we finally bring you the first of the Aninobots named Anino (made by Ian Maypa), Nu-Sho's new mighty minions, aside from his partner Tikbalang who already joined with him early in the comic. Also, we also found out Xi-Takk's blade is powered from his Maximum Lutant power. This is also the reason why we haven't got a Foldabot gestalt yet again, probably on the second half of the year will.

Shortly after knowing the old link found on my old post, where I covered a convenient way to make Foldabots while online became dead. I stumbled upon a new site, which is actually a familiar one, except now it has new features which I found were buggy.

So, while we're excited for Aninotron, some like me are begging for new good guys especially a big gestalt, but Que Sera Sera. As for Titanus 2015, I've already tested out the patterns which turned out to be well designed and better than the old version. So better expect the images soon on the next blog.
