Foldabots: Tribe Wars [Season One]

Synopsis in Brief

This is a fan fiction written by John Dave Salazar a.k.a. jodasalz1129 and Joaquin Villareal. Salazar also produced, edited, and directed the whole series. It tells about the random events based on the comic series. The pilot episode is about the battle between Sundo, the multicab school service, and Rangkada, the clone Lutabot of Pasada. The whole first season ran for five episodes and two more seasons to be expected soon.

Episode One: Last Bot Standing (Sundo vs. Rangkada)
Released on 12 March 2013
John Dave Salazar as both Sundo and Rangkada

The never-ending Clone War is at its nearing end, and the original Sundo and Rangkada are fighting out for supremacy and domination after Rangkada had destroyed most of Sundo's brothers (or duplicates of him.) The conclusion of the episode is where Sundo rammed his only enemy into the background and totally destroys Rangkada.

Episode Two: Friend Turned Foe (Metrotren vs. Riles)
Released on 19 March 2013
John Dave Salazar as Metrotren
Jeve Rafael Macabiog (a.k.a. TheDoctorJever15) as Riles

The next episode takes place at the time after most of the Foldabots got brainwashed and became Lutabots. In this scene, Metrotren faces his old friend turned enemy, in a fight he never expected. Riles may be lacking in size, but he still managed to outnumber Metrotren for good.

Episode Three: Tiny Blue Warrior (Guhitron vs. Trosotron)
Released on 27 March 2013
John Dave Salazar as Trosotron
Guian Tumaneng (a.k.a. GT Media and GJ Tumaneng) as Guhitron

The storyline retells the story of how David conquered the giant Goliath. I find this episode to be the quickest of all the episodes due to the fact it lasted for just 47 seconds. Another thing was Guhitron's legs was missing in this episode. Accoring to Salazar, he had lost both of Guhitron's legs... such a shame...

Episode Four: Road Rage Redux (Patrol vs. Xi-Takk)
Released on 2 April 2013
John Dave Salazar as Patrol
Xydryx Fabia as Xi-Takk

I haven't read the comics recently about this event, but personally, I like this episode very much. Xi-Takk is making another pun on Patrol, but Patrol fought back with his own pun and destroyed Xi-Takk in the end. Trivia: Xi-Takk is based on the design of Patrol. The only addition to this Lutabot is the Lutant saber he wields.

Episode FIve: One BIrd, Two Worms (Buhawi vs. Kongkretron and Pison)
Released on 5 April 2013
John Dave Salazar as Buhawi
Jeve Rafael Macabiog as Kongkretron
Xydryx Fabia as Pison

The Season One Finale focuses on Buhawi facing the two Lutabots once and for all. At first, he was totally outnumbered by both Kongkretron and Pison. Not until he used his Ultimate Agimat Saber to finish this showdown.

Overall, the production is very great, hope we can expect more when the second season begins. On the Season Two Primer, Astig and Landas teams up to fight the rusty jet duo of Sigwa and Delubyo. Tumaneng makes his comeback in this series as the voice of Landas, and making his FBTW debut and perhaps his only role, Marc Gabriel Magpili voices the ever-popular Astig. In the rest of the season, the story takes place in the tournament where the Mikrobots (voiced by Salazar and other cast members) face the dreaded Pestebots (voiced by me) in a fight to the finish.

THE STORM HAS FINALLY ARRIVED...
...AND IT'S ABOUT TO LANDFALL...
...ON TUESDAY!
